Storytelling: Sports Spirit 

Join us for an engaging session featuring readings in French of notable authors and french athletes book's extracts, such as Marie Jose Perec, Jean Giono, Lilian Thuram, Vassilis Alexakis, Daniel Herrero, Paul Fournel, Florence Artaud, Lola Lafon, Elie Robert Nicoud, Henri Decoin, and Helene Delavault.This event will explore both team and individual sports, delving into tactics, athletes' feelings, and their states of mind.

From athleticism to football, whether you're a passionate sport fan or simply enjoy diverse perspectives, this session offers something for everyone. The storytelling will be led by the French comedian Sophie Carrité and followed by a  discussion about her career and experiences as an actress. Additionally, there will be a special appearance by Serge Périchon, President of Alliance Francaise de Rouen and former physical education teacher, who will share insights on sports.

About the artist

After training at the Centre Dramatique Régional de Rouen and various workshops across France, Sophie Caritté has performed for 25 years in contemporary and classical productions under directors like Alain Bézu, Catherine Delattres, and Dominique Terrier.She leads theater workshops for students from middle school to university and has assisted in productions with Cie Métro Mouvance. Since 2008, she has worked with Compagnie Art Scène on the “Brigades d’Intervention Poétique” in schools, hospitals, and libraries, and since 2014, with La Troupe de l’Escouade, engaging with audiences with disabilities.Additionally, she is a reader and voice acting trainer in libraries, schools, and community organizations through Compagnie Alias Victor. In 2020, she directed a voice acting workshop for LE QUI-VIVE.
