We are a premier hub for French language, culture, and resources, rooted in Malaysia since 1961. Our aim is to promote French language and French-speaking cultures in Malaysia.

We're a part of a global network comprising 834 sister institutions spread across 132 countries and five continents. Based in Paris, the Fondation des Alliances Françaises serves as the headquarters, setting high professional standards that ensure consistent quality services across all Alliances Françaises worldwide.

Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur is the only place officially recognized by both the French Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Education in Malaysia for French language certifications, supported by the Embassy of France in Malaysia.
