Y.A.M. Tengku Zatashah Binti Sultan Idris Shah
Tengku Zatashah, daughter of the Sultan of Selangor, has been long affiliated with France and the French language and culture. She graduated with BA (Hons) in French and Spanish at Middlesex University London, followed by Diplôme Cours de Civilisation Française at the Sorbonne University in Paris. In 2004, Tengku Zatashah worked at the prestigious French cosmetics company L’Oreal at the Paris headquarters for 4 years before returning to Malaysia with her French husband. In 2010, she joined Alliance Francaise de Kuala Lumpur Executive Committee as Vice-President and in 2012 she was elected as President of Alliance Francaise de Kuala Lumpur.
Tengku Zatashah is Chairman of Light Cibles Malaysia – a French lighting design consultancy firm with notable projects that include Paris’ Notre Dame Cathedral, Charles de Gaulles Airport, Grande Arche de la Defense, Mont St Michel in France and many more around the world.
